Country bars in Las Vegas are more limited than nightclubs, cocktail lounges, sports bars, and casino bars, but the city still has several strong options for country music fans. You can find line dancing, mechanical bulls, live country bands, Nashville-style bars, barbecue, late-night honky-tonk energy, and local dance lessons.
The scene has changed since the earlier version of this article. PBR Rock Bar & Grill is no longer open at Miracle Mile Shops, Hogs & Heifers has moved from its old downtown location into a new outpost at Plaza, and Ole Red has become one of the biggest new country-music venues on the Strip.
Country bars in Las Vegas may not play country music every single hour of the night. Some venues mix in pop, rock, DJs, sports-watch parties, and special events. If you want a true country night, check the event calendar before going.
Here are the best country bars, honky-tonks, and country-friendly live music spots in Las Vegas right now.
Best Country Bars in Las Vegas
1. Stoney’s Rockin’ Country

- Address: 6611 Las Vegas Blvd S, Suite 160, Las Vegas, NV 89119
- Telephone number: 702-435-2855
- Opening hours: Thursday – Saturday 7pm – 2am; Sunday 3pm – 10pm
- Website: stoneysrockincountry.com
- Best for: line dancing, dance lessons, live music, ladies night, mechanical bull, and classic country-bar energy
Stoney’s Rockin’ Country remains one of the most important country bars in Las Vegas. Located at Town Square, just south of the main Strip, it is a dedicated country bar with a large dance floor, dance lessons, live music, a mechanical bull, pool, beer pong, full bars, and country-themed nightlife.

This is the best choice if you specifically want line dancing and a true country nightclub feel rather than a general bar that sometimes plays country. Stoney’s offers dance lessons Thursday through Saturday at 7:30pm and 8:30pm, plus Sunday lessons around 8pm.
Thursday is still one of the most popular nights because of Stoney’s famous ladies night, while Friday and Saturday are better for weekend nightlife, bigger crowds, live music, and dancing.

Stoney’s is also one of the better options for private parties, bottle service, birthday groups, bachelorette parties, and visitors who want a full country-night experience without leaving the south Strip area.
2. Ole Red Las Vegas
- Address: 3627 South Las Vegas Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV 89109
- Opening hours: Daily from 11am to close
- Age policy: 21+ after 10pm
- Website: olered.com/lasvegas
- Best for: live country music on the Strip, Blake Shelton fans, Southern food, drinks, and rooftop-style Vegas energy
Ole Red is one of the biggest current additions to the Las Vegas country bar scene. Created by Blake Shelton, this multi-level country music venue sits in the center of the Strip near Horseshoe, Paris Las Vegas, and the Bellagio side of Las Vegas Boulevard.
This is not a small local honky-tonk. It is a polished, high-energy restaurant, bar, and live music venue designed for tourists who want a Nashville-style country experience in the middle of Las Vegas.
Expect live music throughout the day and night, Southern-inspired food, drinks, watch parties, country performers, DJs, and a very central Strip location. If you are staying near Paris, Horseshoe, The LINQ, Flamingo, or Bellagio, Ole Red is the easiest country bar to reach on foot.
Ole Red is the best pick if you want country music without taking a rideshare to Town Square or northwest Las Vegas.
3. Gilley’s Saloon, Dance Hall & Bar-B-Que

- Address: 3300 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109
- Telephone number: 702-894-7111
- Opening hours: Sunday – Thursday 12pm – 12am; Friday – Saturday 12pm – 2am
- Website: gilleyslasvegas.com
- Best for: mechanical bull, barbecue, saloon atmosphere, dance floor, and country nightlife at Treasure Island
Gilley’s Saloon, Dance Hall & Bar-B-Que is one of the best country bars on the Las Vegas Strip. Located inside Treasure Island, it combines a saloon, dance hall, barbecue restaurant, mechanical bull, live music, and party atmosphere.

This is a strong choice if you want a country bar inside a major Strip casino rather than a standalone nightclub. You can eat barbecue, drink beer, ride the mechanical bull, listen to live music, and dance without leaving Treasure Island.
The venue may charge cover after 9pm or during special events, so check the current event calendar if you are going late. Gilley’s is especially popular during rodeo weekends, major country events, and busy Strip nights.
4. Stoney’s North Forty
- Address: 4949 N Rancho Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89130
- Phone: 725-208-3025
- Opening hours: Typically Thursday – Saturday from 6pm; event schedule may vary
- Website: stoneysnorthforty.com
- Best for: northwest Las Vegas country dancing, locals, patio games, dance lessons, and a less touristy country bar
Stoney’s North Forty gives Las Vegas another dedicated country bar, this time in the northwest part of the valley. It is a better option for locals, visitors staying near Santa Fe Station, or anyone who wants a country bar away from the Strip.
The venue has country nights, dance lessons, live music, a patio, games, beer pong, oversized beer pong, and a more neighborhood-driven crowd than Stoney’s at Town Square.
If you are staying on the Strip, this is not the most convenient option. If you are in northwest Las Vegas or want a locals-style country night, Stoney’s North Forty is worth considering.
5. Losers Bar at MGM Grand

- Address: 3799 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
- Telephone number: 702-891-3003
- Opening hours: Monday – Thursday 2pm – 2am; Friday 2pm – 3am; Saturday 12pm – 3am; Sunday 12pm – 2am
- Website: mgmgrand.mgmresorts.com
- Age policy: 21+
- Live music: Daily, 3pm – 1am
- Dress code: Casual
Losers Bar at MGM Grand is a festive, 21+ country-themed bar with live music daily. It is more intimate than Stoney’s or Ole Red, but it is one of the easiest country-friendly bars to visit if you are staying at MGM Grand or on the south Strip.

Losers is best for live country music, casual drinks, sports on TV, and a relaxed bar atmosphere rather than a large dance hall. MGM lists live music daily from 3pm to 1am, which makes it one of the most consistent country-music stops on the Strip.
The venue does not serve food, so plan to eat before or after your visit. MGM Grand has plenty of restaurants nearby, including casual spots, bars, and sit-down dining options.
6. Hogs & Heifers Saloon Outpost

- Address: 1 S Main Street, inside Plaza Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, NV 89101
- Telephone number: 702-676-1457
- Opening hours: Daily 1pm – 4am
- Website: hogsandheiferslasvegas.com
- Age policy: 21+ with valid ID
- Best for: dive-bar energy, biker-bar attitude, loud bartenders, and downtown nightlife
Hogs & Heifers is still part of downtown Las Vegas nightlife, but the location has changed. The old 201 N 3rd Street location is no longer the current listing. The active Hogs & Heifers Outpost is now inside Plaza Hotel & Casino at 1 S Main Street.

This is not a polished country dance hall. It is a loud, rowdy, dive-style saloon with biker-bar character, attitude, and late-night downtown energy. If you want clean line dancing and structured dance lessons, choose Stoney’s or Gilley’s instead.
If you want a rougher, louder, adults-only saloon atmosphere near Fremont Street, Hogs & Heifers is still worth considering.
Closed or No Longer Current Country Bars
PBR Rock Bar & Grill

PBR Rock Bar & Grill should no longer be listed as a current country bar at Miracle Mile Shops. It ended its long run at Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile Shops in 2022.
The brand has continued to tease news about a future location, but the old Miracle Mile Shops address should not be used for trip planning. Until a new Las Vegas location is officially open, PBR Rock Bar belongs in the closed/no-longer-current section.
Which Country Bar in Las Vegas Should You Choose?
Choose Stoney’s Rockin’ Country if you want the best dedicated country dance club close to the Strip.
Choose Ole Red if you want live country music in the middle of the Strip with food, drinks, and tourist-friendly energy.
Choose Gilley’s if you want a Strip casino saloon with barbecue, a mechanical bull, and a dance hall.
Choose Stoney’s North Forty if you are in northwest Las Vegas or want a more local country-bar feel.
Choose Losers Bar if you are at MGM Grand and want daily live country music in a smaller bar setting.
Choose Hogs & Heifers if you want a rowdy downtown dive-saloon atmosphere rather than polished country dancing.

Final Thoughts
Las Vegas does not have as many country bars as Nashville or Texas, but the city still gives country fans several strong choices.
For dancing, lessons, and a big country-club feel, Stoney’s Rockin’ Country is still the top pick. For a central Strip country venue, Ole Red is now the most convenient option. For a saloon, barbecue, and bull-riding feel, Gilley’s remains a classic. For daily live music inside a major casino, Losers at MGM Grand is a strong south Strip choice.
Just remember to check each venue’s calendar before going. Las Vegas country bars often mix live bands, DJs, dance lessons, private events, and special cover charges depending on the night.
