Market Place Buffet at Rampart Casino: Menu & Prices

The Market Place Buffet (Rampart Buffet) is the only buffet in Northwest Las Vegas. Its unique features include patio dining, plus special offerings like Fiesta Dinner, Aloha Dinner, Deli Night, Prime Rib Dinner, Seafood Buffet, and weekend Champagne Brunch.

What the buffet lacks in variety, it makes up for with affordable prices, making it one of the cheapest Las Vegas buffets. If you’re looking for an enjoyable off-Strip option, we’ve got all the info you need about this budget-friendly gem.

The Market Place Buffet, commonly known as the “Rampart Buffet,” is located in Rampart Casino at The Resort at Summerlin and stands out as the only buffet in northwest Las Vegas.

It has several food stations serving all your American favorites alongside global cuisine including Italian and Asian – and of course, a good selection of irresistible desserts – it also offers outside patio dining, the only Vegas buffet to do so.

The buffet now offers Prime Rib dinners, a weekly Aloha Night dinner, Deli Night, Fiesta Night, and a Friday Seafood Buffet.

There’s also a weekday lunch buffet from Monday through Friday, and among the most popular options is the Champagne Brunch, which is available every Saturday and Sunday.

The Market Place Buffet may have a smaller selection compared to larger Strip buffets like Bacchanal at Caesars Palace, but the quality is solid, and the prices are very reasonable for what you get.

It’s definitely worth a visit, especially if you’re in the area. However, given its distance from both the Strip and downtown, some may find it too far to travel just for the buffet.

The food at Market Place Buffet is more limited compared to some of the larger, well-known Vegas buffets, but the quality is undeniably respectable.

The buffet offers a variety of American favorites, including a carvery section, along with Italian and Asian dishes for those looking to try different cuisines. There’s also a full selection of sides and accompaniments, and the dessert section is plentiful, perfect for those with a sweet tooth.

Some Highlights to Look Out For

Here are some of the dishes to look out for – although in a buffet, half the fun is discovering unexpected tasty morsels for yourself, and this is only a small selection.

  • American

Most people won’t be disappointed with the selection of the buffet’s all-American favorites. If you want comfort food, the buffet serves a deliciously creamy mac and cheese and a hearty mashed potato & gravy.

Those looking for Southern flavors will be well catered for with the deliciously succulent fried chicken.

  • Italian

The Italian section is particularly strong, and you should look out for the delicious three-bean salad, the garlic chicken, several pasta dishes and the crispy slices of pizza.

  • Asian

There is a limited selection of Asian food, and one of the highlights is the crispy orange chicken. You’ll also find all the classics including fried noodles, fried rice, wontons and spring rolls.

  • Carvery

The carvery is a highlight featuring tender pieces of rotisserie chicken, juicy ham, flavorsome pork and succulent cuts of beef. They also serve a selection of tasty sausages that shouldn’t be missed.

  • Seafood

For many, seafood is a must-have at any Las Vegas buffet, and at Market Place, the star attraction is the crab legs you crack open yourself at the table. You’ll also enjoy shrimp and a selection of fish dishes.

  • Desserts

To finish with a sweet taste in the mouth, you can choose from the likes of tiramisu, pecan pie, cheesecake, cute cupcakes and a range of enticing ice creams.

  • Others

A couple of other notable options to seek out include French onion soup, miso-glazed sweet potato fries, prosciutto fruit salad and bacon fried corn.

  • All-You-Can-Drink

Market Place Buffet offers an unbeatable deal: for just $7.99, you can enjoy unlimited beer and wine refills. This all-you-can-drink option is currently listed as available anytime the buffet is open, but prices and availability can change during holidays or special events.

Special Themed Buffets

Rampart Buffet currently has several specialty buffets throughout the week, including themed dinners, seafood night, prime rib nights, and weekend Champagne Brunch:

Prime Rib Dinner – Wed, Thu, Sun

The Prime Rib Dinner is one of its biggest draws. The offerings center on carved prime rib along with a full range of classic buffet stations, sides, salads, and desserts.

Aloha Night Dinner – Sat

The buffet’s Hawaii-themed night gives you the chance to sample island-inspired dishes along with the regular buffet stations. Specific items can rotate, so check the current menu if you are going for a particular dish.

Fiesta Dinner – Tue

Fiesta night features a mix of Mexican and Latin-inspired dishes alongside the regular buffet stations. Specific dishes can rotate, but this is the night to choose if you want a more Southwest-leaning dinner spread.

Deli Night Dinner – Mon

The Deli Night Dinner is based on classic New York deli-style food, with deli-inspired meats, soups, sides, and comfort dishes rotating through the buffet.

Most themed dinners are similarly priced, making it easy to switch up your favorites each week and try something new.

Seafood Buffet – Fri

Friday is now the buffet’s dedicated Seafood Buffet night. This is the highest-priced weekly dinner at Market Place Buffet and is the best choice if you are specifically looking for seafood rather than the regular themed dinner spread.

Champagne Brunch – Sat & Sun

As the name implies, the weekend brunch includes champagne along with a variety of brunch dishes. Expect a mix of breakfast favorites, lunch items, carving-station selections, desserts, and buffet classics.

Holidays

Market Place is one of the few buffets in Vegas that remains open for most holidays. For example, they have a special Thanksgiving menu as well as menus for other festivals such as Easter and Passover.

Details for special events such as these can be found on the Market Place Buffet page on the Summerlin website at the relevant times of the year.

Special prices for these events also apply.
