The Colorful M&M Store on Las Vegas Strip

M&M’S are one of America’s favorite candies. So, if you’re looking for something fun to do with the whole family in Las Vegas, you’ll want to visit the four floors of M&M’S World Las Vegas. This 28,000-square-foot, four-level haven to the colorful candy was the first M&M’S store location in the world.

M&M’S World Las Vegas is located inside Showcase Mall at 3785 South Las Vegas Boulevard, right next to MGM Grand Hotel & Casino and near the Coca-Cola Store. It is free to enter, easy to explore, and one of the most colorful family-friendly stops on the Las Vegas Strip.

The store is split into four different floors, with candy, merchandise, photo spots, personalized M&M’S, and the famous M&M’S Racing display. Here is a guide to how to make the best out of your trip to the M&M’S World store in Las Vegas.

Things to Do at M&M Store Las Vegas

The First Floor: Retail Store

The first floor of M&M’S World looks like your typical retail store, only dedicated to one of the yummiest candies in the world.

MM First Floor

On this floor, you can enjoy a range of M&M’S branded merchandise. Some of the merch you can buy includes key chains, blankets, mugs, clothing, stuffed animals, kitchen items, seasonal gifts, and travel-friendly souvenirs. You can also find seasonal items like beachwear and towels, along with kitchen merchandise such as plates and cups.

Honestly, think of almost any souvenir product, and there is a good chance M&M’S World has an M&M’S-themed version of it. The store is set out neatly and spaced out, making it easy to browse even when the store is busy.

Kids will love how bright and colorful the shop is. M&M’S characters can be found all over the store, with many at ground level so you can take pictures with them.

The best part about this floor is that the merchandise comes in the colors of the candy. Choose from red, green, brown, yellow, blue, orange, and other familiar M&M’S colors. Get a piece of M&M’S memorabilia that lasts, rather than something that tastes delicious but gets eaten before you can hop on the plane home.

As exciting as this section is, we don’t recommend making all your shopping decisions immediately. Walk through the rest of the store first, then come back to the items you like most. Upstairs is more memorabilia as well as the iconic chocolate wall.

The Second Floor: Chocolate Wall

The Second Floor Chocolate Wall

When you hop off the escalator and onto the second floor of M&M’S World Las Vegas, the smell of chocolate will hit you immediately.

You will find more accessory and loungewear-oriented merchandise up here, but we advise you to walk past that for the moment and head to the back wall. The entire back wall is filled with colorful tubes of M&M’S candies, letting visitors choose their favorite colors and flavors.

You’ll find peanut M&M’S, classic milk chocolate candies, peanut butter, pretzel, and other flavor options depending on the current lineup. You can fill your bag with an assortment or one specific color from this bright wall of M&M’S. Kids will love being able to choose their own range of weird, wonderful, and colorful candy combinations.

Head to this section toward the end of your visit if you plan to buy a large amount of candy, because these bags can get pretty heavy to carry around the four floors. There may also be store-exclusive or limited-time color combinations and flavors that are only found in M&M’S World stores.

This is also one of the best photo spots in the store. The colorful tubes make the Chocolate Wall feel like a candy rainbow.

The Third Floor: Personalized M&M’S and Former 3-D Movie Theater

There is another floor filled with M&M’S branded merchandise, along with the personalized M&M’S experience and other family-friendly displays.

On the escalator ride up to the third floor, check out the hilarious movie posters. They’re patterned after real movie posters, only with an added M&M’S twist, like “Dial M&M’S for Murder,” “Chomp,” and “SuperM.”

One of the most popular current experiences is the personalized M&M’S printer. Guests can create their own custom M&M’S with text, images, and colors. The official M&M’S page says visitors can create one-of-a-kind M&M’S in about two minutes with customized messages, a variety of images, and 16 different colors of M&M’S candies.

There are 14 iconic Las Vegas images available for the personalized printer, including the “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign, a deck of cards, wedding bells, and champagne. This makes personalized M&M’S a fun souvenir, wedding favor, birthday gift, bachelorette gift, or small Vegas keepsake.

If you’re in a rush, the personalization process is designed to be quick, but lines can build during busy hours. Prices can change, so check the current in-store pricing before choosing your cup size or package.

MM Third Floor

The third floor used to be known for the short 3-D film I Lost My M in Vegas, an animated show featuring Red and Yellow on a Las Vegas adventure. However, the 3-D theater has not been a reliable current attraction in recent years, and the official M&M’S Las Vegas page no longer promotes it as a core current experience.

If you are visiting specifically for the 3-D movie, check with the store directly before going. For most visitors today, the main third-floor draw is the personalized M&M’S experience and the surrounding merchandise.

There may also be sections dedicated to chocolates, gifts, and homeware, depending on the current store layout. This is ideal if you are looking for something more artisan, more giftable, or more adult than a simple bag of M&M’S candy.

In addition to the merchandise and personalized candy, the third level of the store has large windows that offer fun vantage points of the Strip below.

Sometimes, if you’re lucky, you may get to meet an M&M’S character during your visit. Get your picture taken and dance along with characters from your favorite candy company. Character appearances are not guaranteed every time, so listen for in-store announcements or ask staff if any meet-and-greet is scheduled that day.

When you are on the fourth floor of this Vegas store, be sure to race over to get an up-close look at the replica of Kyle Busch’s No. 18 M&M’S-sponsored NASCAR. The racing display is one of the most recognizable features of the Las Vegas store, and the floor also includes colorful M&M’S Racing merchandise.

The restroom is on this floor as well, which is always handy when traveling with family. The fourth floor may also include sale items, children’s merchandise, clothing, and other themed goods, depending on the current store layout.

If you are visiting with kids, this floor is a good final stop before heading back down to buy candy or merchandise.
