Las Vegas currently does not have Michelin Star restaurants.

That is because Michelin Star ratings are only valid for a year. Restaurants must be scouted yearly to ensure they maintain their status. This process makes the rating system labor-intensive and very expensive.

The last Michelin Guide covering Las Vegas restaurants was published in 2008-2009. Unfortunately, the edition did not sell well, so Michelin quit reviewing Vegas restaurants and left for greener pastures.

Since the award is reviewed yearly for the restaurant to maintain the Michelin status, Las Vegas currently has no Michelin Star restaurant. This is why you will notice zero results when you search for Las Vegas Michelin Star restaurants on the official Michelin Guide database.

This happened to Chef Gordon Ramsey’s restaurant at the London Hotel, New York, in 2013, which lost a 2-star rating. The experts inspect Michelin Star restaurants frequently to ensure they uphold their ranking criteria.

Each restaurant can only get a maximum of 3 stars but a minimum of zero (unrated). Any of these (1 – 3) star ratings indicate exceptional services. Three stars are rarely attainable, but a 1-star rating is still incredible for any restaurant. The three Michelin Star categories show:
